Course Description: ELA is a 60 minute course that tackles reading, writing, grammar, and speaking. Our curriculum has changed in exciting ways this year to meet the PA Core standards.  Students will be completing five modules throughout the course of the year.  We will be reading, evaluating, and analyzing one novel per module in conjunction with a variety of other sources.

Module Two- Lizzie Bright and the Buckminster Boy by Gary D. Schmidt

Module Four- Call of the Wild- Jack London

  Thank you for visiting my page.  This is my fifteenth teaching ELA at WAMS.  It is a really great place to be!  The teachers on 7C work well together and strive to make school a positive place.
I studied English at Shippensburg University and attained a BA in English with a secondary certification.  I later went back to Shippensburg for a master's degree as a reading specialist.
